Mages and Templars: Origin
It was night, just before the dawn and the sunrise. The young templar had been assigned to guard-duty; to guard the big metal doors that for most just lead into the tower to then keep them from getting outside again. He, on the other hand, was not one of the mages, not locked away to keep the world safe from them - and to keep them safe from the world.
He, Cullen was the young man's name, had not been a templar for long and had just been sent to the Circle Tower, not a full year yet, but not far from it. He knew the names of most of the apprentices since it was them he usually guarded and kept under a watchful eye, but not all mages names -
